Reconciliation feeds statutory audits, regulatory filings, and the numbers your CFO signs. The architecture has to earn that. These are the six principles ReconPe is built on, and how each one shows up in the product.
LLMs never make the matching decision
ACRE — the matching engine — is fully deterministic. Field weights are learned probabilistically; match decisions are not. AI consumes ACRE's output to produce resolution suggestions, risk narratives, and conversational answers. AI never decides whether two rows match. This keeps the audit trail intact and removes hallucination risk from the matching path.
Every match decomposes into per-field evidence
Every match in ReconPe carries the per-field Fellegi-Sunter evidence that produced it: which fields agreed, which disagreed, and the contribution of each to the 0–100 confidence score. Re-running on the same inputs produces the same output. A statutory auditor opening any match can see why the engine accepted it.
Data residency: India
Your reconciliation data is processed and stored in India. Indian buyers do not need to navigate cross-border data transfer compliance to use ReconPe. Operational data lives in PostgreSQL with PGVector; file artifacts live in tenant-scoped storage.
Multi-provider AI — your choice
ReconPe supports Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, DeepSeek, and Google Gemini interchangeably, configurable per tenant. Buyers select based on data residency requirements, cost, or compliance policy. No vendor lock-in to a single LLM provider.
Role-based access enforced server-side
Roles include Analyst, Finance, Compliance, Admin, Org Admin, Member, and System Admin. Capabilities per role are enforced at the API layer. Approval chain rules separate reviewer and approver. Per-plan seat caps are enforced at the invite endpoint so tier limits cannot be bypassed.
Immutable audit log
Every material action — assignment, disposition, approval, rule edit — is timestamped and attributed. The audit log is append-only and exportable as evidence packs for SOX 302/404 review or statutory audit. Period-locking prevents retroactive edits to closed cycles.
