How connectors work

Connect once. Reconciled automatically.

Point ReconPe at a source and every pull becomes one immutable, normalized snapshot your reconciliations run against — so each run is reproducible and audit-ready, even as the source keeps changing.

Every run references the exact snapshot it read — reproducible and audit-ready.

Illustrative. Connectors only ever read; nothing is written back to your source systems.

The connector catalog

Your payment gateways, your accounting stack, your cloud storage

Every object that carries an amount, a date and an identity is a reconciliation side — so connectors span the gateways that pay you out, the systems that hold your books, and the drives where your statements land.

Dropbox

Sync CSV, Excel and PDF reports from a shared Dropbox folder as recon inputs.

Read a bucket prefix via a scoped cross-account role — no long-lived keys, revocable in one click.

Google Sheets

Reconcile straight from a published sheet — paste the link and we read it as CSV, no export step.

Published CSV

Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho & Myntra

Marketplaces reconcile from the settlement reports you already download — ReconPe fingerprints each format automatically, so there's no API to set up and no waitlist. Works today.

Don't see your system? You can always upload files directly — connectors are an addition to file upload, not a replacement.

Security by design

Your books, untouched. Your data, encrypted.

Connectors are built to the standard an enterprise IT team would sign off on — the agent dials out and never in, reads and never writes, and everything is encrypted and isolated to your organization.

AES-256-GCM, per-tenant
Immutable snapshot
org-scoped · reproducible

The agent always dials out — it never opens a port for the cloud to call in. Cloud APIs — payment gateways (Razorpay, Stripe, Shopify) and accounting (Zoho, Xero, QuickBooks) — and cloud storage use least-privilege scopes and the same encrypted, tenant-isolated pipeline.

Outbound-only

The Tally agent always dials out. It never opens an inbound port, so nothing on the internet can reach into your network.

Read-only

Connectors only read. There is no code path that writes back to your books, statements or ledgers.

mTLS device identity

Each agent is issued its own certificate from a private CA and identified by it on every connection.

Encrypted end to end

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256-GCM), with keys scoped per tenant.

Tenant-isolated

Every connector, credential and snapshot is bound to your organization — never shared or visible across tenants.

Least-privilege scopes

Per-folder Drive access, specific SharePoint libraries, prefix-scoped S3 roles — the minimum needed, nothing more.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Do connectors change anything in my books?+

No. Every connector is read-only — it pulls data out to reconcile it. There is no path that writes vouchers, entries or files back to Tally, your ERP, your payment gateway or your cloud storage.

Can I reconcile my Razorpay or Stripe settlements?+

Yes. The Razorpay and Stripe connectors pull your settlements and payouts along with the underlying payments or charges, refunds and disputes — so ReconPe matches every payout to the bank credit it landed as, and to the orders and fees that make it up. Rolling out in early access — join the waitlist and we'll switch yours on.

Does it work with Shopify Payments payouts?+

Yes. The Shopify connector pulls orders, Shopify Payments payouts, the balance-transaction ledger and chargebacks, so each bank deposit reconciles right down to the order and the fees deducted from it.

What about Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho or Myntra?+

Those reconcile from the settlement reports you already download from each seller panel. ReconPe recognises each marketplace's report format automatically, so there's no API to connect and nothing to wait for — it works today. The gateway and accounting connectors are an addition on top of that.

How does the Tally connector work if Tally runs on my computer?+

A small, signed agent runs on the same machine as Tally. It reads your books over Tally's local port and sends the data out over an encrypted connection. It only ever dials out — it never opens an inbound port — so your network stays closed to the outside.

Is my accounting data secure?+

Yes. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, every connection is authenticated, and each connector, credential and data snapshot is isolated to your organization. Cloud connectors use least-privilege access — for example, per-folder access on Google Drive rather than your entire Drive.

Which connectors are available right now?+

The catalog spans payment gateways (Razorpay, Stripe), commerce (Shopify), accounting & ERP (Tally, Zoho Books, Xero, QuickBooks) and cloud storage (Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, S3, Google Sheets) — twelve sources in all. They're rolling out in early access: join the waitlist, tell us which you need first, and we'll switch yours on and walk you through setup.

How does connecting Xero work — and what does it cost?+

You connect Xero with your own free Xero app, so your Xero data and any Xero usage stay under your control, on your own Xero developer account. It's a two-minute setup and we walk you through it — read-only, and revocable from Xero at any time.

Can I use QuickBooks from India?+

QuickBooks Online is no longer sold in India, so the QuickBooks connector is for your global or US entities. For your Indian books, use the Tally, Zoho Books or Xero connectors.

What if my data isn't in any of these tools?+

You can always upload files directly, or connect cloud storage (Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, S3) where your bank statements and settlement reports already land. Connectors are an addition to file upload, not a replacement.
